How does Cabgolin (Cabergoline) work:

Cabgolin (Cabergoline) is used to treat certain hormone problems which can cause unusual or inconsistent breast milk production.

Cabgolin works by stimulating the part of the brain that decreases production of prolactin, a hormone which causes milk production. This reduction of high levels of prolactin will usually improve any problems with breast milk production. Cabgolin can also be used to treat infertility, irregular menstrual periods, and other similar conditions. In some cases it is even used to treat Parkinson`s disease.

Dosage & Administration:

Cabgolin is suitable for adult patients only.

Always take Cabgolin as prescribed by your physician. Never adjust your dosage unless you have been advised to do so.

Your physician may choose to increase or decrease your dosage after several weeks of use based on how effective the medication has been in treating your condition.
