How does it work: Sompraz is used to help conditions where too much acid is present in the stomach include duodenal ulcers gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD). Sompraz is particularly useful for patients who suffer from swelling and irritation of esophagus and are therefore unable to take medication orally. This sometimes occurs when excess stomach acid creeps up into the esophagus. Sompraz can also be used in combination with antibiotics. Elderly patients and those with reoccurring ulcers use it alongside NSAIDs to help reduce the risk of gastric ulcers. Dosage & Administration: The typically dosage is 20 to 240mg per day, and the course of medication can range from 1 to 6 months. However, a correct dosage will depend on the condition which is being treated, as well as the medical history and current health condition of the patient being treated. Do not self medicate.
