How does Somac (Pantoprazole Sodium Sesquihydrate)
work:
Somac is used to treat and help heal duodenal and gastric ulcers. These can be caused in part by too much acid being made in the stomach. It is also used to treat other conditions where there is excess acid in the stomach causing discomfort and ill health such as Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome and Reflux Oesophagitis.

Precautions:
You must tell your physician if you have any allergies to any substances, such as foods, preservatives or dyes. Tell your physician if you intend to become pregnant or intend to breast-feed. Some medicines may be affected by Somac (Protonix), or may affect how well it works.
