Rebagen (Rebamipide) Tweet
How does it work: Rebagen is used to treat long-term behcet's disease, recurrent oral aphthous, ulcers, skin lesions, uveitis, and genital ulcers. Rebagen is a gastroprotective agent and is normally tolerated well by most patients and easy to administer. It is used as both a treatment, and a preventative. Dosage & Administration: Take Rebagen only as advised by your physician. Changing your dose outside of your physician's guidance may cause severe side effects. Rebagen should be taken 3 times a day, once in the morning, afternoon and finally in the evening before bedtime. A common prescription length is 1 week. Side Effects:
Precautions: Rebagen should not be used when pregnant, or breastfeeding. It has been proven to pass through breast milk, threatening the health of the baby. Elderly patients and children should not take Rebagen unless specifically advised it is safe by their own physician. Always inform your physician of any other drugs you are taking, or have recently taken. Inform your physician if you smoke, or if you consume more than small irregular amounts of alcohol.
