How does Lupizol (Lansoprazole) work: Lupizol (Lansoprazole) is a proton pump inhibitor which is used to treat over production of stomach acid. The over production of stomach acid can lead to stomach or duodenal ulcers, or gastro-esophageal disease. Dosage & Administration: You should only take Lupizol as directed by your physician. The typical dose is 1 capsule in the morning before a meal. Never stop taking Lupizol unless your physician tells you to do so. It can take several days before you notice significant improvement in your condition. Check with our physician to see whether occasional treatment with an antacid may used in the interim period before Lupizol takes effect. Side Effects:
