Domperon (Domperidone) Tweet
How does Domperon (Domperidone) work: Symptomatic treatment of the dyspeptic symptom complex which is often associated with delayed gastric emptying or gastro-oesophageal reflux and oesophagitis: epigastric sense of fullness, feeling of abdominal distension, upper abdominal pain, eructation, flatulence, heartburn. Treatment of nausea and vomiting of various origins including functional, organic, infectious, dietetic origin, or induced by radiotherapy, medicine therapy. Dosage & Administration: Domperon (Domperidone) should be taken 15-30 minutes before meals and, if necessary, before retiring.
Further Information: Domperon (Domperidone) is used in Canada and other areas of the world to increase milk supply. Domperon (Domperidone) increases milk supply by blocking dopamine, which results in an increase in prolactin levels. It does not work in all women and would not be expected to increase milk production in a woman who already has normal (high) prolactin levels.
