What is DeWorm (Mebendazole) used for?

DeWorm (Mebendazole) is an Anthelmintic agent that used to kill parasites such as pinworms, roundworms, hookworms, whipworms. It works by interfering with the body's energy absorbing functions, starving and killing the parasites.

How should I use DeWorm (Mebendazole)?

DeWorm is suitable for adults and children of at least 2 years of age.

Always strictly follow the dosage as prescribed to you by your physician.

DeWorm is a chewable drug that is taking orally. The normal prescription is 2 per day, 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening. Unlike many other tablets, they can be chewed, split, or crushed.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. But if it is too near to your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as normal. Never double-up or increase a dose to compensate for a previous missed one.
