How does Creon 10000 (Pancreatin) work:

Creon 10000 (Pancreatin) is a supplement given to patients who have decreased or no enzyme secretion in their pancreas. These are usually the people suffering from Pancreatitis or severe inflammation of the pancreas and from Cystic Fibrosis. Those with cancer of the Pancreas or any condition wherein the flow of enzymes from the Pancreas is blocked may also be given this drug. The main action of this medicine is to help the digestive processes in the body.

Dosage & Administration:

Always dose as instructed by your physician.

Typical dose is 1 or 2 tablets per day, taken on a full stomach or alongside a meal. Tablets can be taken whole, or split and the contents poured into a drink or soft food. Avoid chewing if you mix the medication into food.
