Ciza (Cisapride) Tweet
How does Ciza (Cisapride) work: Ciza (Cisapride) is used to treat acid reflux and is usually used only when proton pump inhibitors type drugs have already failed to bring relief. Ciza can also be prescribed for patients who suffer from a feeling of being bloated or too full after a meal, or who lose their appetite or feel sick. It may also be used to treat other conditions, as prescribed by your physician. Dosage & Administration: The doses should usually be taking alongside a meal and a glass of water. When 2 doses a day are prescribed, the second should be taken shortly before bed. Never self-medicate, or adjust your dose unless under your physician`s instruction. Side Effects:
Precautions: Do not consume grapefruit, grapefruit concentrate, or any other grapefruit product while taking Ciza. Ciza is not suitable for you if you have any bleeding from your bowels or stomach, as the medication increases muscle contractions in the digestive system. Avoid consumption of alcohol and use of sleeping pills while taking Ciza. Always inform your physician if you have been using sleeping pills prior to using Ciza as they may interfere even if you stop taking them when you begin taking Ciza.
