How does it work: Dsorolen is a psoralen medication used mainly to treat psoriasis and vitiligo, alongside a treatment of ultraviolet light exposure which is conducted over a period of several weeks or months. Dsorolen can also be used to treat various other conditions as prescribed physician. Dosage & Administration: Always follow all instructions provided by your physician. A typical dose ranges from 20mg to 40mg per dose, taken 2 to 3 times per week. Never dose within 48 hours of the last dose you took. However, the correct dose will depend on the patient and condition being treated. Side Effects:
Precautions: Dsorolen will vastly increase your skin's sensitivity to sunlight and UV rays from other sources. When not used correctly, there is a risk of serious skin damage. Limit your exposure to direct sunlight or UV rays as much as is possible. Use protective clothing as much as possible when exposure to UV rays is unavoidable. Reports have also shown this medication to increase the risks of cataracts and skin cancer, so patients should regularly check their skin and eyes. Inform your physician if you have recently had any X-Rays examinations, or if you have any planned.
