How does it work: Melacare is a topical cream specially made for the treatment the inflammatory and pruritic signs of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses including redness, itching, and swelling. It is principally referred to as a corticosteroid. Dosage & Administration: In adults, the recommended dose of Melacare Cream is once a day. For children, you should apply a least amount as necessary. Using it for a prolonged period may hamper your child's growth and development. Apply a thin film of the cream to the affected skin. Rub it in until the cream dissolves. Don't use Melacare Cream for extended time or more often than prescribed as it may disrupt in creation of your own natural adrenal corticoid hormones in the body.
