How does it work:

Kelo-Cote Spray is used to treat and prevent the pain, itching, discomfort, and appearances of scars. It is a silicone-based, transparent, and odorless, self-drying spray, which can be sprayed directly onto the affected area with no need to rub, massage, or touch after.

It can be used to treat a range of scar types, including hypertrophic keloid, as well as scars from accidents, traumas, burns, surgeries, and pregnancies. It is also very flexible abd can be applied to wide areas of skin including joint areas and hairy parts of skin. Once applied and dried, the gel forms a waterproof, breathable layer of protection which will last for approximately 12 hours. It is suitable for both children, and those with sensitive skin.

Dosage & Administration:

Correct dosage and frequency of use can vary depending on the patient. Always apply as prescribed and directed by your physician.

To apply, first wash the area to be treated and leave uncovered to dry. Then spray the gel directly onto the affected area, and then leave uncovered for at least 5 minutes to dry.

For best results, apply the gel every 12 hours to maintain a constant protection. This is best done by applying in the morning and evening. Your physician may prescribe otherwise, however, and you should always strictly follow the instructions of any qualified healthcare professional.

When the gel has dried it is waterproof, and you can apply cosmetics and lotions as you normally would.

Side Effects:

Medical studies have shown Kelo-Cote to be a well tolerated treatment, rarely causing any side effects. Most side effects are mild and safe, but if you something is bothering you or persisting you should inform your physician as soon as you are able to.
