Crotorax Cream (Crotamiton) Tweet
How does it work: Crotorax Cream is a scabicide or antipruritic drug used to treat scabies, as well as the irritation and itching of skin caused by chicken pox, insect bites, dermatitis, and sunburns. Dosage & Administration: Strictly follow all instructions provided by your prescribing physician. When used to relieve itchiness or skin irritation, the cream is normally applied to affected areas of skin 2 or 3 times per day. When used to treat scabies, apply to the whole body (except for your face and your scalp) once a day, shortly before sleeping. The length of treatment is usually 3 to 5 days. Side Effects:
Precautions: Crotorax Cream is not suitable for patients under the age of 3 years. Crotorax Cream is for external use only. Do not apply to your face, or onto any skin which is broken, cut, or burnt in any way. Inform your physician if you have any upcoming surgery (including dental surgery). This medication may interfere with the anaesthesia. Before using Crotorax Cream, always inform your physician if you are pregnant or breast feeding, and also disclose full details of the following.
