How does Eryacne Gel (Erythromycin) work: Eryacne Gel (Erythromycin) is used to treat mild or moderate acne vulgaris. Eryacne Gel (Erythromycin) does not cure acne but it helps to keep it under control. Dosage & Administration: Always use Eryacne Gel (Erythromycin) as you have been instructed by your physician, and never change your dose unless your physician advises you to do so. Before you apply Eryacne Gel (Erythromycin), wash the affected area with warm water, and mild soap. Rinse well and dry the area gently with a clean towel. If you have just shaved or washed, wait 30 minutes before applying Eryacne Gel (Erythromycin). If your acne does not clear up, you may need to use Eryacne Gel (Erythromycin) daily for several months. Usually acne clears up during 8 weeks of treatment, but if your acne returns your treatment period may be longer. Side Effects:
Precautions: Tell your physician if you have any allergies or have had any allergic reactions to Eryacne Gel (Erythromycin), to any of its ingredients, or to any other medications, dyes, foods, or preservatives. Also inform your physician if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding. Make sure your physician knows about all other prescription, non-prescription, herbal remedies, and vitamins you are taking, or any other topical medications used to treat the same area.
