How does ClindaTech (Clindamycin) work:

ClindaTech (Clindamycin) is a skin preparation containing clindamycin hydrochloride and a moisturiser. Clindamycin belongs to a group of medicines called antibiotics. ClindaTech topical solution is used on the skin to treat certain forms of acne. It works by decreasing acne lesions and/or stopping the growth of skin bacteria which cause acne.

Dosage & Administration:

Use ClindaTech as prescribed by physician only.

Using the dabber, apply a thin film onto the skin areas being affected as well as those areas likely to be affected by acne, not just to the pimples themselves. The usual treatment is to apply once or twice a day, in the morning and/or before going to bed.

Side Effects:

Tell your physician if the following side effects worry you:

• dry skin
• peeling
• redness
• skin rashes
• oiliness
• skin irritation
• stinging feeling
• mild stomach upset

Stop applying ClindaTech and tell your physician immediately if you have any of the following:

• watery diarrhoea
• bloody diarrhoea
• stomach cramps
• nausea
• vomiting

Precautions:

Do not use ClindaTech if you have an allergy to clindamycin or a history of inflammatory diseases of the intestines or the large bowel. Tell your physician if you have a history of stomach or intestinal diseases, problems of liver or kidney, sensitive skin, skin disorders, or if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
