How does it work:

Otikfree Ear Drops is given to dogs and cats to help treat various conditions such as dermal or otic infections. It is effective for the following conditions:

• Dogs - Otitis externa and allergic dermatitis
• Cats - Associated otitis
• Both - Ear mites (Otodectes cynotis), infestation, bacterial dermatitis, fungal infections, non-specific dermatitis

Dosage & Administration:

Correct usage of this medication may very from animal to animal, so you should always discuss with your vet the best way to use Otikfree Ear Drops. Typically a course of medication lasts for 2 to 3 weeks. A general guideline is found below:

1. Wash and dry your hands.
2. Shake the bottle a little to ensure the solution is mixed.
3. Open the nozzle, place in the animal's ear canal, and squeeze the correct number of drops out.
4. Hold the ear upwards so the solution cannot fall out of the ear, and massage the outside of the ear to spread the solution. You should be able to hear and/or feel the solution squelching inside the ear.
5. When finished, close and recap the nozzle, and put away out of reach of children and pets.

Do not allow the nozzle to touch anything except the animal's ear. This lessens the risk of contamination. If the animal has long fur making it difficult to apply the drops, it may be required to carefully cut some of the obtrusive hair.

In some cases you Otikfree can be applied to skin. When doing so, follow all instructions provided by your vet. If you have any other household pets monitor them closely to ensure they do not lick the medicated ear. This medication is for external use only and should not be digested.

Side Effects:

Otikfree Ear Drops are safe for most dogs and cats when used correctly, and side effects are normally safe. If your pet does show signs of any side effects, contact your vet immediately.

Precautions:

Inform your vet before using Otikfree Ear Drops if your animal:

• has any allergies
• has any other medical conditions
• is pregnant or lactating
• is being given any other medication

Store this product in a safe place out of reach of children and household pets.
