How does it work:

Micohex Shampoo is a medicated shampoo suitable for dogs, cats, and horses. It helps to treat a variety of different skin conditions including dermatitis, worms, malassezia, seborrhoeic, as well as bacterial infections caused by fungi, mould, or yeast.

Dosage & Administration:

Follow the instructions on the packaging. If in doubt, always consult your vet to ensure you are using the shampoo correctly, the correct frequency, and the correct amount. Using the shampoo too much can worsen the animal's condition.

It may be necessary to use the shampoo on other household pets which the original animal has been in contact with in case of contamination.

The following steps are meant as a general guide to give you an idea as to how the shampoo is normally used:

1. Wet the animal using warm, clean water.
2. Squeeze out some shampoo onto your hand and massage into the animal's fur and skin, making sure to cover germ vulnerable locations, such as under the tail, and between the toes.
3. Leave the shampoo for 10 minutes, allowing for the medication to do its job.
4. Rinse off the shampoo, again by using warm and clean water.

Avoid the eyes, nose, and mouth. If the shampoo comes into contact with these areas, rinse it away with clean water immediately.

During the 10 minutes the shampoo is left on the animal, keep a close watch to ensure the shampoo is not licked, or digested by any means. If this is difficult it may be necessary to make use of a collar cone. If you have other household pets it is normally wise to ensure they cannot enter the same room and lick or eat the shampoo.

Side Effects:

When used properly and not digested Micohex Shampoo has shown no adverse effects in animals using it. It contains no perfumes or dyes and has shown to be completely safe.

If you animal digests the shampoo, monitor it closely. If it shows any signs of being affected by the digested shampoo contact your vet immediately.

Precautions:

During consultation with your vet you should discuss any of the following which apply to animal you wish to treat.

• Any allergies the pet has.
• If the pet is pregnant, used for breeding, or providing milk for a litter.
• If the pet is being given any other medication.
• If the vet has any other medical conditions.
