What is Epi-Otic Ear and Skin Cleanser (Lactic Acid/Salicylic Acid) used for?

Epi-Otic Ear and Skin Cleanser is used to clean the ears of dogs or cats, removing crust and excessive cerumen without causing irritation. Epi-Otic helps to protect the skin against environment damage. It can also be given to help treat Otitis Externa, where the ear canal becomes inflamed from a fungal or bacterial based infection.

How should I use Epi-Otic Ear and Skin Cleanser (Lactic Acid/Salicylic Acid)?

Always administer Epi-Otic drected by your vet. The dosage will depend on individual factors.

Following steps are for general guidance only.

• Before administering Epi-Otic, ensure your hands are clean and dry and that the bottle is gently shaken so that the solution inside is well mixed.
• Open the nozzle and squirt out some of the solution directly into the ear canal and massage the base of your pet's ear to thoroughly capture the medicine.
• Squeeze a small amount of solution out onto the cloth and gently wipe the interior of the ear flap and the immediate area around it.

You may repeat these steps 2 to 7 times per week depending on your pet.
