How does it work:

Clinvet is an antibiotic given to pets to treat various kinds of bacterial infections caused by streptococci, straphylococci, and pneumococci. It works by stopping production of protein which bacteria needs to survives, thwarting bacterial growth as well as killing off existing bacteria. Clinvet will not treat viral infections such as influenza or common colds.

Dosage & Administration:

Always follow all instructions provided by your vet. Before using Clinvet, shake the bottle well.

Clinvet is usually administered every 6 hours in doses of 150mg to 300mg. For more severe conditions 300mg to 600mg may be used.

Always finish the full course of even if the infection looks to have disappeared.

Side Effects:

  • nausea
  • vomiting
  • diarrhea

Precautions:

Certain other medication may interfere with Clinvet Oral Solution. Always inform your vet of any other medication or supplements which you pet is being given. Specific medication which will interfere includes succinylcholine and vecuronium muscle relaxants.

Always inform your vet if your pet is pregnant or breastfeeding, and disclose details of any allergies, medical conditions, or illnesses which you pet has.
