How does Prazivet Plus (Praziquantel/Pyrantel Pamoate/Febantel) work:

Prazivet Plus is used for deworming dogs over 3 weeks old who weigh at least 1 lb. It may treat tapeworm, ascarids, whipworm, and hook worm.

Dosage & Administration:

Prazivet Plus should always be used according to any instructions from your vet, or the instruction leaflet supplied in the packaging.

The Correct dosage depends on your dog's medical history, health condition, and weight. A guideline dosage is 1 tablet per 10kg (max 31 kilos). Puppies are normally given Prazivet Plus every fortnight when between 2 and 12 weeks old, and then every 3 months after 12 weeks of age. You can administer Prazivet Plus by mixing it into your dog's food, or by placing it at the back of your dogs throat so he/she swallows the tablet whole.

Side Effects:

There are no known side effects for dogs using Prazivet Plus, but closer monitoring of your dogs habits is advised during this time. Report any side effects to your vet.

Precautions:

Prazivet Plus should be used alone and never combined with other de-worming medicine.
