How does Oruvail (Ketoprofen) work:
Oruvail contains the active ingredient Ketoprofen, which belongs to a family of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs).
Oruvail is used to treat the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. It is also used to relieves swelling, redness and soreness that may occur in rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis. It works by relieving pain and inflammation.
Dosage & Administration:
Strictly follow the instructions given by your physician.
The usual dose of Oruvail is 100-200mg once a day. Oruvail capsules should be taken with plenty of water and food. If you take the wrong dose, Oruvail may not work as well and your problem may not improve.
Ask your physician or pharmacist if you are unsure of the correct dose for you. They will tell you exactly how much to take.
Side Effects:

- indigestion

- loss of appetite
- constipation
- diarrhoea
- pain or tenderness in the stomach
- ulcers
- dizziness
- drowsiness

- disorientation
- ringing in the ears
- dry or itchy skin

- sore or dry mouth or tongue

- confusion
- blurred vision
- sore red eyes
- itchy eyes
- fast or irregular heartbeats
- bleeding more easily than normal
- reddish blotches under the skin
- anaemia
- a change in the colour of urine passed
- vomiting blood or material that looks like coffee grounds
- swelling of the face, lips, mouth or throat
- asthma
- wheezing
- shortness of breath
- hives
- fainting
Precautions:
Do not take Oruvail if you:
- have or have had a peptic ulcer or stomach ulcer
- have problems with your heart
- have severe kidney or liver disease
- are allergic to it or any of the ingredients
- are in your third trimester of pregnancy
- are allergic to aspirin or any other anti-inflammatory medicines
