How does it work:

Zole-F is an ointment with imidazole, anti-fungal, and anti-parasitic properties. It is most commonly administered to treat fungal-based infections.

It can be used to treat a variety of conditions such as ringworm, athlete's foot, vaginal or oral yeast infections, allergy symptoms, eczema, psoriasis, angular cheilitis and jock itch. It works by impairing ergosterol, a substance that is an integral part of the fungal cell membranes.

Please note that the ointment should not be used to treat acne, rosacea, or skin infections which are viral such as herpes or chickenpox.

Dosage & Administration:

Strictly dose only as you have been prescribed by your physician. Always wash your hands before and after handling the ointment.

Zole-F is used topically and applied directly to the skin which needs treating. Administer a small amount of ointment gently massage it into the skin, leave to dry uncovered.

This medication should not be used for extended periods of time. If, after 2 weeks of use you have noticed no improvements to your condition, consult your physician promptly.

Attend all appointments with your physician as your prescribed dosage may require altering in accordance with your progress using the ointment.

Side Effects:

Report all side effects to your physician. If any persist, worsen, or become bothersome, contact your physician as soon as possible.

Side effects which have been reported by patients using Zole-F include:

• stretch marks
• burning
• thinning
• softening
• peeling
• dry skin
• headaches
• nausea

Seek immediate medical attention if you notice:

• insomnia
• mood changes
• vision changes
• unusual weight gain
• unusually tiredness
• muscle weakness

Precautions:

Zole-F is suitable only for adults and children 12 years old and over.

Before using this ointment to your skin, disclose to your physician your full medical history to help determine whether this ointment is suitable for you to use.

Always ensure your physician is aware if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and disclose any of the following information:
