How does it work: Stef Injection is a cephalosporin antibiotic prescribed to treat a wide range of bacterial infections including those which are serious and life threatening. It works by inhibiting the activity of existing bacterial, providing the body's immune system room to fight the infection. Stef Injection should only be used to treat bacterial infections and should not be used to treat viral infections. Dosage & Administration: Stef is administered by injection and is usually done so by a medical professional at a hospital or health clinic. It is injected directly into a vein or muscle and often requires diluting using diluents. Always complete the entire course of medication which you have been prescribed. Infections can often continue undetected so it is not possible to judge when the infection has completely cleared up and infections will relapse more severe and medicine resistant if allowed to.
