How does it work:

R-Cin 450 is indicated for the treatment of patients suffering from tuberculosis and meningococcal carrier state. Mycobacterium tuberculosis causes a contagious infection called tuberculosis. Rifampicin works by killing or stopping the growth of tuberculosis bacteria.

Dosage & Administration:

Rifampicin should be taken as advised by your physician or you may follow the dosage instructions that come with the medicine.

Rifampicin can be taken with a full glass of water either 1 hour before or 2 hours after eating.

Do not take more or less than the dose your physician prescribed to you.

Side Effects:

The common side effects include:

• stomach pain or bloating

• menstrual changes
• loss of appetite
• joint pain
• heartburn
• headache
• gas
• drowsiness
• dizziness
• diarrhea

Precautions:
