How does it work: Gentalene is an antifungal cream used to prevent fungal growth. It works by inhibiting membrane production for the specific membranes which envelop fungal cells. Other effects of Gentalene Plus Cream include the suppression of inflammation. Specific conditions which Gentalene Plus is used to treat include jock itch, athlete's foot, and other similar fungal infections. Dosage & Administration: Always clean your hands well before and after applying Gentalene Plus Cream. You also need to clean the area of skin which will be treated and leave to air dry. Gently massage a thin layer of the cream into the affected area(s) twice a day. Refrain from bandaging or covering the treated skin in any way. The course of medication prescribed usually lasts for 2 weeks when treating Jock itch and 4 weeks if treating Athlete's foot.
