Ethide (Ethionamide IP) Tweet
How does Ethide work: Ethide is an antibiotic which prevents the growth of bacteria in your body. It is used to treat tuberculosis. Ethide may also be used for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide. Dosage & Administration: Take Ethide exactly as directed by your physician. Take each dose with a full glass of water. Ethide can be taken with or without food. Taking Ethide with food may decrease stomach upset. Take all of the Ethide that has been prescribed for you even if you begin to feel better. Your symptoms may begin to improve before the infection is completely treated. If you do not understand these instructions, ask your pharmacist, nurse, or physician to explain them to you. Side Effects: If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop taking Ethide and seek emergency medical attention:
