How does Rozex (Metronidazole) work:

Rozex Cream / Gel (Metronidazole) is used to treat bacterial infections (anaerobic bacteria), rosacea acne, as well as other micro-organisms called protozoa. It works to improve skin texture by reducing pimples, inflammation, and redness associated with these infections. It does this by targeting cells at cause and preventing them from reproducing.

Dosage & Administration:

Always use as instructed by your physician or another qualified healthcare professional.

The following steps are meant only as a general guide:

1. Wash your hands and the face to be treated with warm water and leave to air dry.
2. Squeeze some cream onto your fingers rub into the affected areas.
3. Massage the cream in a circular motion until it has all dried or been absorbed.

You should start to see results within 2 or 3 weeks of use. If you do not, inform your physician and discuss how best to proceed treating your condition.

Side Effects:

If you experience any side effects which are bothersome or persistent, inform your physician promptly, the most commonly reported site effects include:

• skin irritation, dryness, redness, stinging, burning, tingling, or numbness
• nausea or vomiting
• abnormally watery eyes
• abnormal change in taste
