Cialis (Tadalafil) is used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) in men. This is when a man cannot get a hard erect penis suitable for sexual activity. Tadalafil is a selective inhibitor of phosphodiesterase type 5 an enzyme with hydrolsis cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) in the corpus Cavernosum tissue of the penis.
