*Do not be alarmed if you are unable to see the dosage inside the applicator tube. The dose is very small in size and as such may not be visible to the human eye.*

How does Befar (Alprostadil) work:

Befar (Alprostadil) is a product designed for the treatment of male erectile dysfunction. It is able to widen the blood vessels in the penis, and thus is allowing it to be filled with blood. Befar's main ingredient aprostadil belongs to that type of medicine, which causes the blood vessels to expand, and increases blood flow throughout the body. By increasing the blood flow to the penis, alprostadil helps facilitate an erection.

Dosage & Administration:

One should administer the cream as directed by ones medical advisor. Generally 10-15 minutes prior to a planned intercourse, it is advised to apply the cream. Each applicator contains around two doses. Gently open the orifice of the urethra after you grasped glans of the penis (tip of the penis). In case you are not circumcised first step is to pull back the foreskin and hold the foreskin back prior to the opening of the orifice of the urethra. Always administer the cream into the orifice of the urethra and exactly at the dosage recommended by your pharmacist. After applying the cream hold the penis firm and vertically for about 30 seconds. This will allow the cream to vanish into the orifice. Note that the cream doesn't necessarily need to be totally absorbed to work proper.

Ensure you hold the penis in an upright position for approximately 30 seconds to allow the cream to spread sufficiently. The cream does not need to be completely absorbed to be effective.

Side Effects:

As mentioned below and as it is with any other drug, there exist a few side effects, which might occur during the application of Befar. Often patients do not experience any adverse reactions. But in case you do observe any uncomfortable effects, please consult a medical advisor, because some of these side effects might need medical assistance.

• Urinary Tract Pain
• Penile Fullness
• Burning
• Headache
• Dizziness
• Flu symptoms
• Palpitations
• Redness at the application side

Precautions:

Always use a condom when you have sexual intercourse with pregnant or lactating woman or even if you practice oral sex. In any cases it recommended to use contraception and protection at all times. Further note that Befar has to be stored between 2 and 8 degrees Celsius. It will last for around 2 years after opening. As an alternative it can as well be stored at room temperature (for around one month). More over use Befar cautious if you have diseases such as:

• Cardiac infarction
• Orthostatic hypotension
