Asthalin (Salbutamol) Tweet
How does it work: Asthalin is used as a bronchodilator prescribed to help manage asthma and other similar respiratory conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It is used to control shortness of breath as well as wheezing. It is a beta-2 receptor agonist type of medication which has the capability of relaxing airways, opening up the user's breathing passages, enabling easier breathing. Dosage & Administration: Always dose as prescribed by your physician. Never adjust your dose without consulting your physician first. For adults the recommended dose of Asthalin is usually between 2mg and 4mg, taken 3 to 4 times a day. Children aged from 7 to 12 are usually prescribed 2mg 3 or 4 times per day. Children aged from 2 to 6 are usually prescribed either 1mg or 2mg, to be taken 3 or 4 times per day. The tablets should be swallowed whole without being split, chewed, or crushed. The effects of Asthalin will usually last for 6 hours in length. Side Effects: Possible side effects may include:
