How does it work: Arpizol is drug used to manage mental conditions such as schizophrenia or manic depression. It works by altering the levels of certain brain chemicals which in turn change your thought patterns and chemical reactions and is effective in alleviating the symptoms associated with these kinds of conditions such as aggression, mood swings, and temper tantrums. As an antipsychotic drug, Arpizol is often combined with other drugs, or alongside behavioral therapy sessions, to help achieve better results. Dosage & Administration: Always consult your physician and strictly follow all directions provided for dosage and administration. Typical dosage is 2mg to 5mg per day, taken either with or without food. If, however, you suffer from stomach upsets after dosing it is recommended you try dosing alongside a snack or meal to lessen the severity of the side effect. Do not take Arpizol for more than 6 weeks at a time, unless specifically advised to do so by your physician. Elderly patients, children, or patients with certain other medical conditions or illnesses will normally be prescribed lower doses. Side Effects: Common side effects which will normally require medical attention include those below. Inform your physician promptly if any become bothersome, persist, or worsen.
Serious side effects which require prompt medical attention when experienced include the following.
If you suffer an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention. Signs of a reaction can include trouble breathing, tight chest, swelling, rashes, and hives. Precautions: Arpizol is not suitable for all patients. It may not be suitable if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to conceive a baby. Additionally, if you suffer any of the conditions listed below it may be unsafe for you. Consult your physician to discuss the risks involved.
It is also important you disclose details of all medication you are currently taking, or have recently taken. This includes prescription drugs, off-the-shelf medicine, vitamins, supplement, and any recreational drugs.
