Claratyne (Loratadine) (lor AH ta deen) Tweet
How does Claratyne (Loratadine) work: Claratyne (Loratadine) operates by inhibiting histamine H1 receptors. Loratadine is an antihistamine that blocks the symptoms of allergies. Loratadine is named a non-sedating antihistamine, because it does not enter your brain. Hence it will not cause drowsiness. Dosage & Administration: Claratyne is usually taken orally once per day. One can take it with or without food. In case the drug seems to cause stomach upset you should administer it together with food. The consistences of the tablets are quite good for the use of people who usually have problems swallowing tablets. It is best to try to take your tablets each day at the same time. In the case of you being unsure about the dosing, please discuss yourself with your medical advisor or nurse. In case you forget to take a dosage and remember it in less than 12 hours, administer it immediately and continue as usual. Never try to make up for missed dosages by applying more than one dosage at the same time. Side Effects: As it is with any other medications, Claratyne may cause certain side effects in the consumer. In case you should experience the following adverse reaction, please contact your physician for medical advice:
