Dosage & Administration Information:
Desloratadine is delivered as a tablet and has to be administered by mouth. Children over 12 years and adults take one Claramax tablet daily with a glass of water and with or without food. Do not use Claramax for children under the age of 12, unless your medical advisor recommended it. Note that it is important to never apply a double dosage of Claramax, in case you forget to take one of your tablets.
Carefully follow the directions on your prescription label, and ask your medical advisor to give you explanation on any part you do not understand. Always administer desloratadine as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Never apply more tablets than prescribed by your doctor.
How does Claramax work:
The active ingredient of Claramax, desloratadine, is a type of remedy called a non-sedating antihistamine. It works through the prevention of the activity of histamine.

Precautions:
Consult yourself with your medical advisor, in case you are pregnant or breast-feeding and specifically if you have liver or severe kidney problems. Further let your doctor know if you have a known allergy against the active agent desloratadine.
