What is Ciplactin (Cyproheptadine) used for? Ciplactin (Cyproheptadine) is an antihistamine that provides relief of seasonal and nonseasonal allergy symptoms such as watery and itchy eyes, runny nose and sneezing. It is also used to relieve itching and hives due to some skin conditions. Ciplactin (Cyproheptadine) may also be used for a hormone disorder, sexual function problems due to certain drugs, and eating disorders. How should I use Ciplactin (Cyproheptadine)? Take Ciplactin (Cyproheptadine) at the same time(s) each day for best results. Always swallow tablets whole and wash down with plenty of water. Do not dissolve the tablet in water or crush, split, or chew it. What are the side effects of Ciplactin (Cyproheptadine)?
